Bart was a team leader in one of the product engineering teams at Fandom. His team implemented the features created in collaboration with Product and Design organizations.
History[]
First project that Bart was working on was modernization of the Wikiamobile skin. His next project was Interactive Maps, a feature that allow users of the platform to create custom maps with their own points of interests.
The next project Bart was involved in was Mobile-Wiki - separating the mobile-web view of our article experience into a separate application, using MediaWiki as a backend API.
Other projects that Bart worked on were creating the login and registration pages, Discussions, Mobile Web design modernization, and Feeds.
Currently, Bart and his team are heavily involved into the UCP and Mediawiki upgrade efforts.
Interests[]
Bart loves sports - both actively playing (his favorite sports are squash, soccer (football), basketball and tennis) and watching.
He also enjoys going to the movies, binge-watching TV Shows and traveling around the world.
Community Connect Involvement[]
Bart will be attending the workshops led by Michael Morgan and Derek Hart on community content and editing tools. He's also happy to talk to the Community Connect attendees about Fandom's engineering department.
