Wednesday, May 1[]
This year, we don't have a specific organized activity—rather, it's a "Choose Your Own Adventure" Day with options of attendees' choosing!
One of the pieces of feedback we've heard from past years is that while organized trips to parks or museums are appreciated, attendees also would love the opportunity to spend more time with one another either hanging out editing / playing games, or taking self-organized group outings elsewhere.
So this year, we're giving attendees the choice! Using the Visa gift card that attendees receive on check-in, attendees will be able to go wherever they want throughout the day either individually or in groups. Fandom Staff will provide recommendations for activities or sights to see in or around Phoenix, and we'll be having conversations in the attendee channel on Discord to see who might be interested in hanging out at the hotel and what activities they might want to do (editing sessions, board games, D&D, etc—things like that). We'll also help facilitate groups that may want to check out specific places.
Stay tuned for those recommendations and activity discussions!
