Saunt3D is one of the newer wiki representatives and part of the cross-vertical team. His primary interest in wiki editing is based on his passion for the works of filmmaker Zack Snyder, leading to becoming by far the biggest editor on the Armyverse Wiki (based on Snyder's first original multi-film franchise), which is what first earned the attention of Fandom staff.
Bio[]
Prior to the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, David was only vaguely interested in movies and other forms of entertainment, with no major sense of fandom. Eventually viewing the Ultimate Edition, the director's cut of Batman v Superman, a new sense of passion was stirred that caused him to delve deeper into the DC Extended Universe, which eventually led him to focus on Zack Snyder movies. A longtime viewer of random Fandom wikis, he started actually editing on the DC Extended Universe wiki in April of 2020 with minor grammar and punctuation corrections, until eventually becoming one of their biggest editors, even creating a sub-wiki of merchandise for the franchise almost from scratch.
After a while he was given the role of content mod, the tools of which he found very helpful for general editing as well as for new cleanup possibilities that had previously been out of reach. Becoming accustomed to it, he soon asked for the role in the Army of the Dead wiki, which was quickly granted, then upgraded to admin. The Army of the Dead franchise, which eventually became known as the Armyverse by fans and members of its crew alike, was his second major wiki franchise, and one that ended up taking most of his wiki attention. He ended up there because, like Batman v Superman before it, the movie was directed by Zack Snyder, so he knew he'd be interested - and he certainly was.
Over time the Armyverse wiki continued to grow, from 18 pages when David first found it, to 455 at the time of Community Connect 2022 about one year later. Héctor Donís brought David and the wiki into the Emerging Wikis program, in which he and OishiiOnIno helped David make the wiki become the best it could be. Meanwhile, David founded the Snow Steam Iron wiki about the 2017 short film, and the Rebel Moon wiki, both projects directed by Zack Snyder. He also remains one of the biggest editors on the DC Extended Universe wiki (Snyder projects or not), as well as Sucker Punch and Twilight of the Gods, which are both Snyder franchises.
Some of the other wikis he frequents (but doesn't usually edit) are Hollow Knight, Ozark, Rick and Morty, The Walking Dead, and Money Heist.
